Keeping track of childhood immunisation

Immunisation protects against vaccine-preventable diseases. Children need the locally recommended schedule and follow-up for missed doses. Confirm the Nigerian schedule and an individual child’s record with an appropriate healthcare service.
Use the immunisation card and a local vaccination clinic to confirm what is due. UNICEF Nigeria provides national context, but the clinic must check current national guidance and the individual record. If a visit was missed, bring the card for catch-up assessment; do not invent dates, doses or repeat vaccinations independently. This overview still requires a current Nigerian authority check before public release.
